My car has been swapped from automatic to 5 speed manual. Everything works, reverse lights, etc. except cruise control. When I check VCDS, the clutch and brake pedals and all cruise switches seem to indicate just fine in measuring block 06. However, there’s no cruise while driving.
VCDS soft coding is changed to 0002 for manual and Automatic TCU Is disconnected.

I can’t access CAN gateway as I have VCDS-LITE does this matter?
Possibly related, I noticed when the brake is applied I get a 17.0 in the rightmost measuring block 06 CCS field (seems odd)?

Recheck all your wiring. I just did the swap on my wagon. I have not had the ecu recoded and my car drives fine. Starts right up, reverse lights, and cruise control all work perfectly

Hey thanks. I was using the same guide to check my wiring the other day. Still haven’t been able to get to the bottom of it.
I do have a Malone stage 4 tune but I doubt that would have removed cruise from the ECU
