::gulp:: here I am like 10 years later with the same problem of cruise control losing speed on hills. Did anyone solve this problem? Is anyone still watching this thread?

RESOLVED: I had a vacuum leak from a cracked "vacuum pump to brake booster line", which is a hose that is part plastic and apparently is a frequent cracking point. Repairing this fixed my cruise control.::gulp:: here I am like 10 years later with the same problem of cruise control losing speed on hills. Did anyone solve this problem? I used a piece of flexible hydraulic line hose I had laying around to replace the frequently cracked brake booster vacuum line. Never had to worry about that failing again. The price of that replacement OEM part is absurd.RESOLVED: I had a vacuum leak from a cracked "vacuum pump to brake booster line", which is a hose that is part plastic and apparently is a frequent cracking point. Yeah I'm not paying $100 for it! Cheap Chinese knock offs are only $10 on ebay though so I ordered one. We'll see how that goes!I used a piece of flexible hydraulic line hose I had laying around to replace the frequently cracked brake booster vacuum line. Never had to worry about that failing again.
