Cruise control not working

::gulp:: here I am like 10 years later with the same problem of cruise control losing speed on hills. Did anyone solve this problem? Is anyone still watching this thread? 😅

RESOLVED: I had a vacuum leak from a cracked "vacuum pump to brake booster line", which is a hose that is part plastic and apparently is a frequent cracking point. Repairing this fixed my cruise control.

RESOLVED: I had a vacuum leak from a cracked "vacuum pump to brake booster line", which is a hose that is part plastic and apparently is a frequent cracking point. Repairing this fixed my cruise control.
I used a piece of flexible hydraulic line hose I had laying around to replace the frequently cracked brake booster vacuum line. Never had to worry about that failing again. The price of that replacement OEM part is absurd.

Yeah I'm not paying $100 for it! Cheap Chinese knock offs are only $10 on ebay though so I ordered one. We'll see how that goes!
