Always had good luck with Quirk in Manchester NH, usually no appointment for oil changes or scheduled MX... only ever had two warranty events or unscheduled MX...was all pretty painless and prices were ok.
Many dealers use routine scheduled MX as a loss leader of sorts... giving them the opportunity to up sell or schedule other work. Nobody's ever said you had to have it done there, but having the dealer look always worked out for me.
Quirk was good to me, until they weren't.
Quirk gave me the cold shoulder for phase 2B on emissions recall work on the Passat.
"we don't have loaners at this time"
"we don't deal with rental car loaners, even if VWoA provides reimbursement"
"we'll put you on the waiting list for loaners"
"yes i see you're on the waiting list for loaners and see you've been waiting for a month, no i can't tell you where you are on the waiting list" yadda yadda id4 haven been waiting for a loaner for 8 months, you'll always will be on the bottom of the waiting list.
Eventually went to Autofair Nashua (actually in merrimack) they set up an enterprise rental car and had our passat for 6 business days for phase 2b.
Needless to say when the Passat was totaled, we didn't even step in the front door of Quirk. Autofair actually gave us what we felt like a good deal on the SEL Tiguan (vw 2K rebate, and the dealer knocked about 2k more off).
