cover under the extended warranty?

I have a 2015 VW Passat TDI, which is covered under the extended emissions warranty.

The red blinking coolant light keeps turning on and off, though the coolant level is full and the temperature appears normal. Would this issue be covered under the VW TDI extended emissions warranty? Thanks.

Not yet, but I have the code reader and can check it tonight. Does the warranty cover any malfunction detected by the OBD?

Anything that turns on the check engine light I think, except concerning the transmission. It is possible to set a code but not turn on the light, depends on what it is. Just don't clear the codes when scanning.

The issue is a coolant leak, but I’m not sure where the leak is coming from. Would this be covered under the warranty, or does it depend on which part is leaking? Thanks.
