So my cigarette lighter stopped working but no fuses has been blown I got a 2012 cjaa dsg jetta I'm wondering if the cigarette just shorted itself out without blowing the 20 amp fuse and the secound I don't know why but I changed my condenser/intercooler and before that my car never went above 212 no matter the heat or ac on the ac condenser now on a hot day it gets up to 240 and fluctuations to 225 any body else have that problem?

Bad fan's, thermostat not opening enough, Water pump impellers loose and slipping.
There's a check you cooling fans now thread.
Should point you in the basic diagnostic path.
Did you try replacing the cigarette lighter fuse?
If it pop's again look for a reason.
Shorted cigarette lighter, frayed wires or such.

Sounds good id give it a check with the fans and for the cigarette outlet I've swapped the fuse and still doesn't blow I took the cig off amd swapped it for another but still no power and also made sure the wires behind the fuse was getting power which it does

Use a test light to see if there's power in the cigarette lighter.
Don't clamp to the body, probe to inside bottom of the cigarette lighter and clip to the side of the socket.
Don't let the two touch or the fuse will pop.
This should make sure power is getting to the socket and the ground is good.
