So it was late evening, I was all excited to start a fresh built motor in my wagon (ALH)... Midst filling all the many fluids and triple checking everything, I realized I had accidentally ordered Pentosin NF rather than SF when I opened the cap and saw blue rather than the familiar violet color... don't worry I didn't let that slow me down.
I know, 'silicates' vs 'not silicates' do not play well together...but I did NOT mix.
What about with a totally flushed system and new build?
I don't regret being an eager beaver and starting the breakin process, and I am willing to flush completely...wanted to ask those who know more than I - is running this thru the winter before I flush is actually an issue?
