Coolant Glow Plug Question

Here's a question for all the B4 experts out there:

If I have a bad coolant glow plug, will the ECU pick that up and throw a code? Or if the cooland glow plugs go bad, that's it...they're bad and the computer has no idea? My heater knows!!

The computer will never know. I broke the fuse on mine and there was no mcode triped what so ever. They're not an integral component when it comes to the operation of the vehicle. Hope this answers your question.
