All the threads I've seen on this topic are older, so I figured I needed some up to date info.
I'm on my fourth DPF. Original one for replaced with the "fix," and that one and each one since had failed... Quickly. Currently it's in limp home mode and needs to be replaced. I opted to get a RawTek full exhaust with the EGR delete and just a resonator. I also have the Tunezilla tune with a FZL en route.
I understand that once installed and tuned the car will pass CT emissions via OBD. However I've gotten mixed opinions as to whether or not they will physically check to see if there is a catalytic converter.
Does any one have first hand experience as to whether or not they will look under the car to see if there is a cat? I don't know if they do look if they will just see the resonator and tick the box.
TIA
