OK, here's my issue.....-temps in November; car starts and then dies within two blocks. Can't start, not happy. Remove fuel filter, 911 everything including in the tank and replace fuel filter. Runs fine until -temps the last few day. Similar stalling issues: starts, runs for a block, then stumbles and quits. If I can get it started and let it warm up (with a bit of nudging on the pedal) for a couple of minutes runs fine. No CEL's no issues. Starts, runs, but seems to have issues in the 1,600-1,800 RPM area and then fine once we are over 2,000. Yes, I have been using PowerService additives --> is it possible I have a clogged filter in a month? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can have a filter issue a 1/4 tank of fill with bad fuel. Even in summer. I had that one summer.

really? I guess a $40 gamble isn't the worth thing, but was hoping to hone it a bit on what the issue might be. I can certainly understand that I got a bad tank full of petrol, but really?

Here is my experience with car dying out of nowhere, right after I start driving in cold weather: in my case, the EGR valve was "sticking" open. Because it's cold outside, the valve allows more exhaust to go back in the engine to help it warm up. When the EGR valve it's going bad, it sticks open, allowing too much exhaust back in the engine, chocking it. It usually takes me 20 minutes to be able to restart the car, I believe it has a EGR valve position reset. It happens only when is very cold outside. If you experience the same symptoms, you might have the same problem.
