I posted this on Friday at the Biodiesel forum, but no responses over there. Reason being that I have successfully run on WVO for the past 85K and have been posting there a lot.
Anyway, here's what happened on Thursday:
Thursday, CEL went on while driving. Nothing perceptible happened, I was cruising on the highway doing 75+, Got home about 30 minutes later and scanned the codes:
SAE: P2564
Text: Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit Low
So I cleared it. Went driving again last night on the highway. About an hour into it, light came on again. Same thing in that there was nothing perceptibly wrong with the car. I floored it a few times, felt great. I feathered it to be as steady as possible, still felt great.
Cleared it again.
Friday, local driving, CEL came on. Got home after some miles of local stuff, car still feeling fine, same code.
Saturday, local driving, no CEL light, at least not yet.
I'm thinking its the actual sensor or corroded contacts since there is no perceptible problem.
What do you think?
