Hi All
I have owned VWs for years and now I have my 1st TDI . Its an A3 Jetta and I love it. I have a check engine light on and the glow plug light is flashing. I Checked the brake lights and the glow plugs to ground .45 ohms. Cleaned up the contact and checked all fuses. The Jetta starts fine and the dash lights go to rest then 30 secs later a relay clicks under the dash (drivers side) and the glow plug light starts to flash and the check engine light comes on. We have the trouble code P1562. Does anyone know this code and if so what should I do.
Thanks
Aaron

2001 Golf GLS TDI Reflex silver, rough road suspension and steel skid plate, 2004 Passat Variant, Candy White, rough road suspension and geared balanced shaft module, and much, much more. 2016 LR RR HSE TD6, 2019 Jaguar I-PACE
That equates to a 17970 Quantity Adjuster Upper Limit Reached. Possibly a bad/dislodged o-ring, IIRC, or as others have posted possibly a faulty connection with a tuning box (when I used the search function).

Thanks for the heads up MOGOLF. I have a tuning box on the car and may be the plug is lose or something along that line. Great info!
Thanks again

Yes, a friend of mine has a car with a TB. Once the weather gets cold it has to be turned down. Turn it down and see what happens.

Thanks Guys
I unplugged the tuning box and the problem code went away. The tuning box I have looks to be non ajustable from the outside but I have not taken it apart yet to find out if they have used resistors or pots. Maybe its not what you call a tuning box, maybe its a module? Now , when you guys say turn it down, what are you Adjusting, fuel timing , fuel presure, or boost? I am just new to TDIs so please go easy on me if I sound stupid.
