I have a 2014 jetta tdi. I've been getting a code for the dpf filter for quite a while.

Is there a product to clean the filter on the car?

I've seen videos of people disconnecting the exhaust ahead of the cat, spraying oven cleaner from the top thru the sensor port. After allowing it to work a while, running the engine and claiming this worked?

I added moly brand dpf cleaner in the tank a number of times according to direction. It worked once to cause the code to go away buy it came back a month later.

*has anyone had any luck with dpf cleaning? Please explain. Thanks in advance

If you have black soot in and on tail pipes then dont waste your time. Its shot. This is well documented. Good luck.

Do a bit of reading on the same subject...it's called self help.
If your tailpipes aren't WHITE GLOVE CLEAN your DPF is cracked...so it not worth cleaning.
Removing them then Cleaning them is so labor intensive, UNLIKE on many trucks (the vids you watched) it makes ZERO sense.

If my tailpipes are clean are there ways or products that have worked for others to remove the build up from the filter?

I have done quite a bit of " self help " research before posting here. Much of the info is contradictory regarding cleaning and I haven't found anything concrete about replacing the filter with straight pipe and obtaining a program to flash the computer after removing the filter. I'm out in the country and finding it hard to get any info locally

No cleaning products, but if it's not cracked, your car is supposed to do a regen to burn the soot. Have you read the CBEA/CJAA DPF sticky thread in the TDI 101 forum?
