Chrome door strip

Does anyone know how to remove the chrome door strip on the drivers door?

I have rust bubbles forming at the end of the strip and want to remove it to repair the rust underneath.

It is held on with adhesive. A plastic scraper or similar should get it off for you and you can clean the strip and replace the adhesive to reinstall.
