Shell on SE corner of 53 (N Bolingbrook Dr) and E Boughton has no bioblend sticker. It's a Circle K and pump is labelled Shell Diesel.
I have been buying at the BP in Highland Park which has no stickers and has been reputed to have non biodiesel.
I have similar question in my mind ...BP at corner of Central and Green Bay in Highland Park has no biodiesel blend sticker, only ULSD stciker ... labelled as "BP Diesel".
Did you report this to the NHTSA? If not, please do so. There is a link in MK5 section.Thanks.

FYI, my HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) failed about a month ago whe the tank was near empty.
This appears to be a problem for the TDIs. I don't know if this is related to bio-diesel or not. Seems to be a national problem... lots of complaints by TDI owners about failed fuel systems when tank is near empty.
I would highly recommend never letting your fuel get low.
BP in Wauconda is another good spot.Just a caution to not assume all BP's are ok...got delivery guy confirmation that the BP at Bull Valley & Crrstal Lake roads is B11 although no stickers on pump. (far NW suburbs...McHenry) I've been sticking to the aforementioned Philips 66 in Volo with no compliants (other than no pay at pump). As an aside...any "trusted" dealers in the NW suburbs for routine maintance? I bought from Liberty but willing to travel for best service!
http://my.chicagotribune.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-73702673/Don't know if anything will come of it, but I saw a story yesterday about how the state is hard up for money due to communities not wanting video poker machines installed. They talked about eliminating the biodiesel tax break among other things to get more income.
That station converted to bio long ago. Was there a blue sticker on the pump? Besides the only way to tell for sure is to ask to see the delivery specs. Employees know nothing.Today, Sunday January 6th
Looked at the sticker ULSD
no info about BIO or premium
nothing
walked in, asked a guy behind a counter
- he had no idea..." Diesel it's a Diesel sir"....![]()
Very interesting ... are we to assume that ALL Speedways carry No.2 diesel? Not sure if this was ever given out before, but I asked Speedway about their diesel fuel and they directed me to the following which has the MSDS for their No. 2 diesel. It shows only a 5% bio-blend

Personally I have fueled at:...
5. Some say local Meijer's is a source. Schaumburg I believe.
I also find this interesting.Very interesting ... are we to assume that ALL Speedways carry No.2 diesel?
Yep, me thinks the MSDS is misleading ...I live near 2 Speedways and drive by several others everyday. My wife also gases up at Speedway weekly (patronage program member), so I'm in and around them regularly. Never seen an IL Speedway without the blue biomass sticker on the Diesel pump (in 2 years since buying my JSW).
