Hey gang,

I need to check the resistance on the third injector… do I need to remove it? I have my multimeter with resistance setting, and I’m wondering exactly how To test resistance on this injector? Is it between the body and the wire or is it between the two wires… I figured I would stop screwing around and actually ask the intelligence here.

Thanks for helping an Electrically challenged not so newbie🙄

crickets...

SO I replaced my Bosio power plus 764 injectorsset up by DBW with Bosio P520s that a person had Kerma or DBW set up properly, and never installed them.

My B4V is running about the same, and the GP light is still flashing. I'm worried one of the two little wires is broken somewhere.
From the wiring diagram on page X174 in the good book, it appears the wires go straight to the ECU.

Has anyone had either of these wires break and can give me a hint as to where to look first?

thanks in advance!

I don't know if you got the resistance checked on the third injector, the resistance would be between the two wires. It should have continuity, and I don't recall the ohms reading it should be, but I think it was around .9 ohms?

From memory, between 80-120ohms. It should be searchable…

I did the resistance check, and it seems to be in parameters. Now I’m worried that there is a broken wire somewhere in the harness. Has anybody had that issue, and is there a common place for it to have broken?

UPDATE:

Well, after replacing the injectors, and tracing wiring, it turned out to be the ECU!

I've NEVER had an ECU go bad... first time for everything. I had a good one in a 96 parts sedan and swapped it out and things are back to good working order with no dash lights flashing at me.
