Hello all;

Several weeks ago, I posted a question about using VAG DPF on a USA CJAA engine. After trying it multiple times to no avail, I took the plunge and invested in OBD Eleven. I am at a loss as to how to use the app to perform this task. I have gone into live data and the app gives me numbered but un-named or labeled channels which range from 01-240(something). I have looked it up and some posts suggest the channels 67-72 or something like that but when I looked at those, I get nothing but unlabeled measurements of something. OBD Eleven correctly identifies my engine and VIN number. I suspect that I am missing something. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes I know, that is why I stated the channels may not correlate. At least you could try them.

Okay. Thanks. I am kind of honked off that the channels are set up so cryptically. I could not find anything in the manual. I was worried that the live data channel selection was barking up the wrong tree.

Well the proper tool is VCDS from RossTech. If you are up in the Austin area I would scan it for you. Heading down to Galveston in a few weeks for a cruise and we might could meet up then if possible.

Thank you for the generous offer Lightflyer1. However, the OBD Eleven should be able to perform this task. In that case, I should return it and order VCDS because OBD Eleven is apparently considerably less functional.
