I did some searching hoping to find someone else who has had similar issues to what I'm experiencing with my check temp 3, but couldn't find anything. When I start up the car the check temp's backlight comes on, and the check temp splash screen comes on for a split second, then the screen goes blank and the backlight goes out. The unit is dead at this point and nothing happens if you press the buttons.
I've checked the power connections at the back of the unit and all the connections at the fuse box, and last but not least the ground. All are good.
Has anyone else experienced an issue like this? Anyone have any suggestions?
