Change miles remaining until service

When the dealer did phase 2 they also changed the oil, except they didn't reset miles to service so now it has been 1000 miles and the car says to service in 700 miles. Does anyone know if it is possible to use VCDS and change how many miles remain until service is due?

Pretty sure you hold down the trip reset button until a menu pops up for resetting the service reminder... at least I think that's what the service guy told me when I asked. He ended up doing it for me...

That will reset it back to 10,000 but I am hoping I can use VCDS to set the remaining miles to like 8,700 miles or whatever the math works out to so I don't have to remember when my next oil change should be.

Oh, gotcha. I haven't dug around in the modules enough to know. I'm sure someone has though. Curious to see what you find out.

Yeah, I will probably jump in and dig around a little this afternoon, I can't find anything on the internet but it sure seems like it should be possible.
