Jay,
The link does not work, might be a privacy issue. Any luck on finding enough locals to attract a tuner?

couldn't help but catch your gripe about the dyno folks. Just wanted to let you know I charge $90 for a full hour on my dyno, not a Dynomite sytem either. It's a state of the art Dynocom model. Less than 1 year old and some of the best software on the market today. I'm relatively new in town so I cruise the forums looking for folks like you who get reamed by the older dynos in town. Give us a call or e-mail us and we can work out an appt for the dyno. Once I make an Appt I don't cancel or reschedule unless you need to. I also do pulls by the pull for $65 as set of 2 (which usually ends up 3) I like to do it till it's right without passing cost of an occasional extra pull on to you if it needs done. And if you want to set up your own Dyno day we work out pricing for that as well.

Let me know

Any luck on finding enough locals to attract a tuner?

I installed my PP764's today and let me preface the rest of this post by saying WOW!!!!!!

Huge gain in power. I could instantly feel it coming out of the driveway. At first, there was alot of smoke at WOT, but after driving around town for a few hours today there is already much less. I was worried about the nozzles overfueling for this altitude, but now my worries are gone.

There is a downside to the upgrade, however. The car runs rougher at idle now. It's fine as soon as i give it a little pedal, but at idle it feels like it's
"missing". I'll have to do a little investigating about that.

Anybody with a stock TDI and free time this saturday could go with me to Performance Flat Four and get a dyno for $45.

I did a baseline run last weekend on his brand new machine and the numbers were a little high, sooooo he said if i bring him a stock tdi to compare he would give us a deal. I'll be there to do a comparison run with my new nozzles.

Any takers?

Plans in Nothern NM

I'll be droping the Turbo and Exhaust manifold this weekend for an EGT and Turbo VNT repair procedure. If any one wants to help curse or provide moral support I plan on being on task all Friday and Saturday unless things go really smooth. PM and I'll give directions.

The car still runs and we made a run to ciudad juarez with no new problems, I took pictures and plan to post a full report shortly.

Who besides me ever checks out this section and is within 100 miles of Alb?
Just curious.
My heart was a few days ago when I saw 7 TDI's within 5 days while visiting friends in Santa Fe.

(See sightings.)

I was driving some POS from Thrifty:(
