cd changer

Are all factory cd changers compatable with vw cars? I bought one on e-bay and it acts like it is going to play , but does't. # is 3b0-035-11b or Ij6-035-111.

If it is for the right series of car, then it probably should work. (plugs all fit and so on)

A word of warning though, these changers tend to breakdown and people have a habit of selling used ones that don't work on ebay and other places.

The used one I bought was broken but I was able to fix it. I've heard of a number of other people buying used changers that didn't work.
