FOOD - DRINKS - SNACKS

We're less than a month out so it's time to get this thread going. As mentioned in the main Fest thread, Doug and the crew at Impex will be supplying Pit Beef and Brats again this year. We, the attendees, will supply salads, snacks, chips, deserts, etc. Impex will have water and soft drinks on hand, and you can bring your own beer, hard cider, etc. if you like.

Keep it simple, or get as fancy as you want…

A couple of bags of chips & a platter of cookies from Bob S.
NarfBlast is bringing Maple Creme Cookies.
1854sailor will whip up a batch of Italian or German (non-mayonnaise) Potato Salad.
ATR will bring peanut butter pretzels ??

How are we fixed for coolers and ice? I have two mega coolers that I can load up with LOTS of ice. I plan to arrive fairly early, but don't plan to stay all day (2-3pm?).

I'm not sure if I'm going to pack something in the ice for the trip or stop by a grocery store when I arrive. If I get beans, I could either pack cold beans or buy hot ones at a nearby store. Which is better? I could pack some cole slaw, too.

Thoughts?
