CAN I USE VAG-COM ON MY UK 110 TDI ?????

I AM ALL SET TO PURCHESS A COPY OF VAG-COM FOR MY GOLF OVER HERE IN THE UK.
I HAVE JUST READ A THREAD SOME WHERE THAT I CAN NOT USE IT ON MY UK GOLF (A4). AS THEY DO NOT HAVE THE OBD2 CONNECTER.
IS THIS TRUE ?
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME BEFORE I GO OUT AND BUY THE SOFTWARE AND CABLE. </font>

All VW Golfs since model-year 1994 have an OBD-2 socket for the diagnostic connection. This is not to imply that they all support the generic OBD-2 diagnostic protocols, but they all work with VAG-COM!

I've got a '97 Audi A4 Tdi 110, and it works a treat!

Works on my 96 Passat TDI too, which has the OBD connector as supplied by Ross.

My wife's 94 Audi 80 TDI only works with the HexCom adapter and has a 2+2 connector instead of the OBD one.

VW TDIs are all fine with the OBD connector and VagCom
