Cam anyone tell me what power gains a high lift cam would gain when mapped accordingly. Should be a decent gain. Also anyone reccomend any, stuck between piper and veicomer?

In a Diesel engine all the cam does is let in the air. Fuel is controlled by injection. Higher boost adds more air with same cam…..

Higher profile cam also helps lower EGT's

TLDR version: if you have yet to need a bigger better clutch, a cam is worthless

cams are worthless without a full head port and bigger valves with much more boost and tons of fuel.
who cares if you get more air in there if you didn't add much fuel, but you also need more everything to support.......... RABIT HOLE TIME.
look cams are awesome on gas engines when you can toss larger orifices in a carb. on a diesel they are worthless unless you have already spent a few grand on other performance mods.
