None, but someday....
So I just stumbled upon a full FIS Euro cluster for my Passat and I need to get the miles my car currently has encoded into it.

Not sure if there are any other fun things that can be done...say the welcome message but either way I'm in need of someone who knows their way around these things.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes you will need vag-tacho or some way of resetting the cluster mileage and pulling the skc. Once you do that you use VCDS to adapt it to the car, program the keys, and set the mileage.

Thanks, are there any trusted sources for VAG-TACHO? And I have a Ross-Tech USB cable, will that work at all?

VCDS will not do what you want unless the cluster you found has fewer than 100 miles on it. I would suggest sending a PM to "Jetta ,97" here. He is a trusted mechanic who also does cluster repair. He might have the necessary tool to do what you want. Here: http://forums.tdiclub.com/member.php?u=87519

Have Fun!

What I meant to say was if VAG-TACHO will work with the Ross-Tech cable; I will get in touch with him, much appreciated.
