california emissions warranty

Hi all.

I'm not actually seeing any problems with my car but I was just wondering -- I'm the 2nd owner of my 2001 golf. This means that I've got a 5 year / 50,000 mile warranty, right?

I also live in california so I've got some sort of CARB mandated emissions equipment warranty on my side. I'm pretty sure this covers the MAF and the cat, but does it also cover the fuel pump? It would be pretty nice if the pump were also covered.

What are the specifics of the cal emissions warranty and where is this documented? I asked google but google didn't know.

thx,
chris

If you still have your owners manual it should be stated in the warranty booklet.

For my car alot of major components (turbo, injection pump, fuel tank, etc.) are covered for 8/80k I want to say, then there are some other components (such as the MAF) that are only covered under the B2B.
