I can hit almost 25 psi anytime I jab the throttle. The ECU pulls back pretty quick to 15 then back up to 20.
Car operates fine with stock chip and big injectors. I've checked all of the control lines AND tried another control valve. I think it's something in the software.
I've seen a plugged intake cause boost oscillation that isn't really evident until you add a tune, but I assume that's not your issue.

Time to talk to Jeff...

Did you ever end up fixing it?
I cut the factory wire back by the cluster and after the cylindrical connector at the radiator (the short was somewhere in between these two points) and I ran another wire between the ends I cut.

Intake is clean. It was cleaned 45k ago, EGR adapted and rechecked when the engine was out for the swap.

Anyone in Southern Ontario around KW or London with an AHU to test my ecu/tune in?

No TDIs Currently, I have an R36 Corrado. I've had an ALH Corrado swap, AHU Corrado swap and 2003 TDI Jetta
I have always loved that color. There was a similar color on the canadian corrados.

My wife loves the colour, I'm not too big on it myself. For what I paid for the car, I didn't really care!

Happy to report the car as done about 1000k and no issues to date! My only complaint is the TDI is a bit loud in town with the top down. No diesel smell while driving either (so far). I need to transfer the sound deadening material from the old car still. I think that will help, and I'll try and find a lower engine cover. I've seen them on Mk3 Jetta diesels before.

sweet swap, nice work!

the canadian corrado color is called ice violet grey
Thanks! Yeah, it wasn't a very common colour.

Here's what I did last weekend to it:

:D Car's been working great!

I snagged a black interior from an 01, as well as the complete power roof assembly! I find the seats are a bit flat, the older ones had more support but were pretty ugly/grubby. Now I need to find 01 Wolfsburg or GTI seats that would match for the front! Something a bit more sporty.
