That’s a cool little truck!
That video made me reminisce about all the neat vehicles I sold for under $1000, and all the ones that have surely rotted away by now.

That brings back memories from years past. One of my high school friends had one they used as a golf cart in the farm, kept road plates on it till it got too rotten. Can't remember for sure, but I'm certain it was a 4 speed trans in it. Didn't have lots of power, but man it went forever on no fuel and hauled a surprising amount of weight. We had to go get bagged chicken feed from the mill one weekend. His dad had the 3500. So we decided to take the rabbit. We got about half loaded up and realized you could darn near pick the front bumper up by hand. Ended up having to make 2 trips. Kinda sketchy on the way back, but it made it. Was a great truck.
Good luck selling her, someone should be really happy with it.

Thanks, if only we could go back to keep a few! I once had a 57 bus i got for $150. Was d.o.a. I came back with a fuel pump (two 10mm nuts on top of engine). Drove away.

A fun vehicle for sure. Not many like this one left
Thanks for the compliments. Will hopefully be ready for bringatrailer.com soon.

There is hope, though...

My son's first truck, 90 Dakota. Old school to him - the truck is his senior by 15 years.
We bought it in Tennessee, paint was faded so bad it was more grey than blue. It sat so long we had to replace almost every rubber bit on the truck. Weather seals, brake and fuel lines, vacuum lines, etc. Shocks, brakes, slave cylinder, 4wheel drive actuator. Valve cover/intake gaskets. The list is long. My kid did most of the work, with guidance of course. First vehicle I've painted in over 20 years, not the greatest but it'll do for now.
He's off in the service now so I try to make it a point to run it every now and again.

Here are a few more video updates. Enjoy. Of course open for offers before committing to bringatrailer.

Walk around overview

Never have issues on start up, even extended periods. Typical 60 degree morning, 1st start up. As a habit we usually "double tap" the glow plugs (new fast glow plugs and relay convertion).

Start up, all lights functioning normal.
Note: alternator light needs the initial slight rpm kick to "wake it up" as all of these older systems did. I'll get an updated video.

The wife abit nervous over video taping start up out of the norm... still smoke free Giles super pump and injectors make all the difference.
