Remember the AMC Marlin? When I was in high school, I had a nightmare that my father bought one and gave it to me to drive.

Not exactly Butt Ugly, but one you would hate if you owned it.

My barn find a couple of years ago when hunting down a natural gas well in southern Louisiana. Not sure how this got there but a typical 70's Jensen Healey Interceptor III would have never made it from the east coast to Louisiana unless on a tow dolly. (British electrics and Chrysler drive train)

Barn find:

The real deal:

"they ran so bad and broke down so often, the owners decided they were Ugly":p

I might be the only one, but to me the Prius has about the same profile as an Aztek! I think they are both UGLY!
...ever drive a Prius? those things not only are ugly, but have ZERO visibility (even for a sub-compact car), no guts and handle like a paper airplane.

I have a few at work, which I drive fairly regularly.

FWIW, the Veloster is a decent looking car. If only it were RWD. I see them pretty much daily.

Fortunately I can say I have never driven a Prius and I have no desire to drive one!!!

Sorry that you have to drive in one regularly!!!

I've seen worse than the Veloster, but it is pretty bad in my opinion... Definitely not a dream car!!!

I give Hyundai the benefit of the doubt. They at least try. The Elantra, Sonata, and that bigger car are all nice looking.

I cannot forgive Toyota. The Camry is ugly-through-apathy. I can't imagine anyone looking at that car, and thinking "nice." A hideous mismatch of tacked on ideas. A few days ago I pitied the fool behind the wheel of a new 4-runner.

People who buy Camry's are typically those who are not automotive enthusiasts and consider a purchase about in the same light as replacing the kitchen toaster.

At first I thought OP was talking about the 1st gen-ish juke, which looked unique...but then I saw this fugly car at the RCSS parking lot and had to look it up..

Looks like the new Jukes got a facelift...literally a facelift the lights are so high and seperated from the DRL and turn signals. *** were they thinking? That is truly horrible. The Homer Car looks better than that!

Okay! Let's keep this going...
This one takes the cake! But the Juke, Veloster, ForTwo, Datsun F10, B210 (etc), Toyota Tercel, Echo, iQ (etc), Gremlin, anything gussied up with padded landau opera roofs, and Edsel come readily to mind. :p

But the Pontiac Aztek was the biggest offender! Just plain oogly!

Pretty much any x,y,z bloated SUV with 1 or 2 passengers looks the part to me.
The aspirational Buick Enclave definitely gets a vote from me.
The Aztek was so ugly, they sold for cheap, which negated some of the ugliness.

Having just driven downtown (about 20 miles each way) in one of my '06 Prius econoboxes, I'd like to add this to the list.
Both inside and out, that this is UGLY! (Not too mention cramped and hard to see out of.)
However, I cannot bash hybrids too much. After all...

I actually liked my avalance when I could afford to put gas in it. The Nissan van/truck thingy is one of the ugliest things on the road today. Must be a general style thing with Nissan. "Let's see how ugly we can make everything on the lot!"

I agree on that Nissan Van for sure!!! I also like the Avalanche... But I think the Honda whatever it's called trucklet looks bad... But I guess any truck/suv that is based on a minivan would look bad...

When seeing a PT Cruiser I thought "a hearse for very short people"

Cfried---i remember seeing a couple of these in colombia a few yrs. ago and when this thread started i tried to figure out what it was. thanks for posting, your picture actually makes the "back end" look better than it does in person. actually makes the Aztec look respectable, terrible looking vehicle.

also whomever posted #37, that vehicle is just funny looking. sorry i would give you credit but i do not know how to look back without losing my previously typed text.
