I would clean the injectors some more. You had good results just dumping it in the tank.

You may also want to clean the engine, if it needs it, and see if it might have a small oil leak. Ignore the EGR area, that's gonna get nasty over time. Nature of these beasts.
What color did you get? I'm a big fan of the variety of color on these bugs.
I got good old black. Has black 5 spoke empi rims and smoked lights as well. I think it looks pretty good!

heres the stuff oilhammer was talking about. We use it at the shop that I work at on the Chevy 5.3 multi cyl shut off engines that clog the screen and oil pressure sensors that under the intake manifold and "fixes" the problem 80+% of the time. So the stuff works just a word of warning dont get it on your hands or paint.
I used it recently and my oil consumption went from 1.25 quarts per 10,000 to 05 quarts per 10,000 miles. Needless to say I am happy with the results.
