Hi everyone,

so yesterday my boyfriend and i had our ALH blow a timing belt on the way to work and we are in the process of getting another ALH to swap into it.. BUT while we are there we have been thinking about lifting the bug for a while.

i have been doing some research on here and other places and have found that jeep front coils work well, but i haven't seen anything about the shocks. can anyone help me with some shock options that you may have found to work with doing this?

thank you in advance =]

stock or aftermarket shock's with tire rod extensions work.

ok thanks, i was seeing a lot of people saying that the rear shocks pretty much max out once the jeep coils are in
You can use Ford F150 shocks of around the same era. you'll have to drill out the lower bolt holes to fit a larger bolt though the shock on that rear axle beam.

For the extensions you can use M14x1.5 tie rod extensions. Though it depends on what jeep springs you use, you may not need them.
