i think we need to have a new england gtg this summer, and concentrate all our collective brainpower on nate's car.

admittedly, most of this brain trust would consist of tom, peter, jon, and phil, but i'll bring the beer! oh wait, nate will. he makes it.

right then, i'll bring the chips!

you know what would be a better topic than this? those damn freezing doors. yup.

actually, i just talked to nate yesterday, and he tells me that it was all apparently a result of his mechanic replacing a bolt with the starter that was about to die. or something along those lines. knowing this, i can say with confidence that yes, i did in fact install that engine mount.

for a minute i was worried i was going to have to blame the whole thing on tom's tools.

None at the moment. *sniff*
What ended up happening is that the engine mount had come out of position, primarily because the bolt that holds down the starter was GONE. After that came out, the rest of the engine started to get loose, and then eventually the mount popped out and that's when it started bucking.
