Please help, so i was in a crash on a trip that cracked a motor mount. Car drove fine for about 3 hrs till i hit a big bump and the mount failed. I got down to the motor mount and saw that the timing belt inner cover needs replaced as it was broken when the motor mount failed. So I decided to order a new one and do the timing belt while I did the motor mount. However, I have NO idea how to get this inner cover on. It looks like I have to remove the entire end of the cam shaft? Please tell me this is not the case. I am not super mechanically inclined and am able to follow right ups and what not.

Is it possible to take it off the bottom and and angle it as pictured to slide it behind the camshaft? If Not that may be your only recourse is to remove the end of the camshaft. I will however warn that if you do so take the valve cover off first to find a lock to keep the cam in place so you don't inadvertently cause damage while removing said pulley. I'm not 100% sure so maybe someone with more experience will chime in?
