Hey all - struggling to reassemble rear brakes. I have the new rotors and pads installed and lined up just like they should be. I'm not able to get the caliper to align with the two bolts. I'm like a half inch away without having to use all the pressure I can to smash it into place against the pad springs, which doesn't seem right at all. What could be going on here? Parts are correct based on VIN and ordered from ID parts. Double checked part number on pads and it is correct. Will try to post pics later. Thanks! Josh.

Yep, don’t have the parking brake on. Tell me I’m not the only one who’s done this! Any ideas on parking brake cable release?

You have to retract the piston. Turn clockwise as you push inward.

Check that the new rotors are not bigger than the ones you removed.
