And the OP should note that the Bosch settlement, although automatic, will only be paid to those registered for the VW buyback or fix. If you're doing nothing with your TDI, you get nothing. Not sure if the 3.0 settlement is exactly the same, just that they get more $$.....but, then, I don't really care about the 3.0 settlement.

It will also be paid to those who didn't file a claim at all with VW, but filed one with the Bosch settlement. The 3-liter settlement works the same way in this regard.

I was told that the checks are being mailed out. I just have not heard of any one actually receiving a check. So I wonder if that is actually a fact. When I called them they said they could not say anything as to a specific date or time frame.
