No problem, pretty much all the 4cyl transmissions have the same mounting configuration. The only issue with the 02Q is that it doesn't have the speed sensor. You'd need to drill a hole and install the one from your MKIV.

no updated pictures? Ive been working on my Audi unfortunately :/ as im trading that with one of my customers for there Audi.
but i did drill out all the spot welds on the r32 and prepped the floor, once the new Audi is ready to take on daily driving the tdi gets pulled off the road.

A lot of hours went in to it and I'm still not finished have to do a few more things. For now it will stay like this so I can focus on getting my sfwd civic ready for the season.

^ Nope. No 4mo tranny that came stock on a car in north America will work for this. That 02M that guy in the link is selling is just a FWD one...

No that won't work. That's a 6cyl 6speed fwd transmission

You need a TT 1.8t quattro trans and a 6 speed tdi trans and swap the internals. they only way Ive spent a ton of time researching it.
Whats wrong with a mk5 golf gt tdi 4 motion tranny?
Or how about the Leon 4 tdi box also.
Just because you didnt get them in the states doesnt mean they are unavailable.

yes, you are technically correct, but getting those parts from across the pond are quite expense as opposed to finding something local.
If your buying two boxes and having to pay the man hours to strip them and build back up to a usable box I can't see the costs being much different.

I'm pretty sure you'll need the rear diff too no? The ratio for a 3.2 VR6 rear diff compared to a TDI powered car is probably different?

Mk5 O2Q dont have the speed sensor you need in the O2M, plus you will need the Angle gear and rear diff from the TT so the easiest is to swap internals everything you can get on this side of the pond

Any updates? Did you get the transmission all worked out? What about the Haldex controller?

Still looking for a transmission however I might be keeping the wife's 2002 Jetta tdi and getting her into a toureg tdi - family is growing lol.
If that happens I might put my tdi setup in her Jetta and go 24v turbo all wheel drive in my orange Jetta sorry guys lol
