BMW unveiled 2 new diesel models at the Chicago auto show.

If my calculations are correct, the U.S. has now more than doubled its diesel offerings from 2013 to 2014.

Interesting feature on the x3 for coasting or "sailing" which disengages the drivetrain above 30mph when the drivers foot is removed from the accelerator pedal. Could result in some impressive mpg's when using the pulse and glide technique.

Our 328d does the same thing, its like putting the clutch in the car basically goes to neutral and coasts. I think this is the most fuel efficient feature on our 328d.

Track Warrior- have you tried P&G to see what kind of numbers your car is capable of? It's a lot of work though if your not used to it.
