I have a 2003 VW Jetta TDi, 350,000 miles. Blower fan resistor needs to be replaced. Possibly the motor also. What parts or part sites would you recommend ? Thanks everyone !! the " Menace "

Many years ago I replaced a few resistors and soon after the second replacement the fan motor went up in smoke (it never made any noise). The lesson for me was the resistor(s) blew because the blower fan motor was pulling excessive current draw and should have been replaced with the first resistor.
The other car had a noisy blower fan motor before the resistor went out so it was obvious both needed replacement.
I usually buy parts from Metalman.
