Hi I was having a lot of things going on with my Vw golf mk6 a long story short a doing the parts cannon on it. I seem to got it sorted which I taught so one of my last resort was to do a smoke test on it so I was looking around the engine there was no leaks so I just pulled out the dip stick and the was oil spitting out which got me in the face so went out got a compression test and on cylinder 2 I was getting 20 psi and 25 psi on other 2 and on the fourth piston I was getting 30 psi now to cut a long story short I’ve put petrol in the car a drove it no realise till it conked out then I knew what I did so my question been is should I change piston rings or should I get a second hand engine and hope for the best I’m assuming it the piston rings what do think I should do

Hard to believe you have compression within ten psi but that low in all four.

Maybe you should tell the long story. Hard to understand your short version.

Oh, and as always, what's the timing belt look like?

I put petrol into it two times on to different occasions drove it till it conk out dident realize what I done till it was to late

You put petrol (gasoline) into your diesel car...? And then drove it until it died?
If you did that, your fuel injection system is now trashed beyond repair. Everything from the fuel tank to the fuel injectors needs to be replaced.

Yes I change out everything but I have low compression now and when I've done a smoke test I have smoke coming out of dip stick and oil squirting out as well do you think engine needs a over hall
