Bizarre electrical problem

Simply put, when I turn off my headlights, the left side front and tailights stay lit. The right side turns off. This started to happen out of the blue. I should say the daylight running lights and taillight stay lit, not the headlights. The hi-beams work normal.

Is this related to a blown fuse? What do I need to replace? Until fixed, I have disconnected the battery. To test, when I reconnect it, the DRL and rear light are lit indicating there must be an open circuit that has not closed.

Try cleaning all the grounds through-out the chassis, and while you are at it, also clean the 12+VDC connections & fusible links on the forward face of the engine bay box.

Check your turn signal switch you probably had your left turn signal on when you switched off your car. If you switch the turn signal to the left when the car is off the lights on the left side of the car will be on, if you switch it to the right the lights on the right side of the car will be on when the car is off.
