I think the reason the standard fuel stations use B5 is because of the low lubrosity of the newer low-sulphur diesels - a bit of biodiesel works to increase the lubrosity.
I'm all for biodiesel - but I wouldn't consider B5 biodiesel. Its diesel, with a bit of biodiesel.
B99 in Phoenix (Western States Petroleum) sells for roughly $4.25/gallon.
