Bike Rack 2001 Golf GL TDI.

Has anyone installed bike rack on the rear end of the 2001 TDI. I have the Yakima King Joe for 2 bikes. Will that hatch door hold 2 bikes? Does not seem to be a place to attach under rear bumper/frame for more secure hold. Thnks

golf or Jetta?

I have had 2 bikes on the back of my Golf many times and have done long trips like that. I have carried 3 bikes but only for short trips.
