Thought I would put this here as its a simple question and since I'm asking about fitment from other models I was hoping the people with those other models would see it to.
I have a bhw in my car and am getting ready to install alot of aftermarket stereo gear so to do it right i would like to get a higher output alternator. I would prefer to keep this to what alternators/amprages are available not how many amps I need like I see alot of threads diverge into. I currently have a Valeo 120amp am mainly eyeing Bosch and currently looking at the 150 air cooled or 190 water cooled from the touareg i believe certain motors offer a bolt in with a pulley swap. Just curious if I have other options and would prefer to avoid water cooled if possible, although I have an egr delete so could use the coolent routing from that.
