Hey All, This is betty, Betty is my work in progress and she has become some what of a sick obsession for me. But this car is a great car, We've been through some rocky roads, Even feel in one(Thats another story, Don't worry i have pictures to explain). I have spent a lot of Time,Effort and Currency into this monster and will continue to as long as she plays nice.

New engine assembley. (big pot hole took my pan, I was a newbie)

And of course 2010 hit, And so did my O1m transmission, Harder and harder everyday. I was planing a 5 spd swap but it didnt happen,so i ended up just installing another auto tranny. I didn't break the bank to bad either just about 2k for eveything. it was from a crashed up car in florida.

-Replaced MAF
-Cleaned intercooler
-Cold weather fuel pick-up mod
-Afe cold air intake

Little fender bender, I fixed it all myself. Now for the paint..

How does the car run without the muffler? I took my cat off, and it ran like a new car, but I was told not to remove the muffler because the car would not run as good without the back pressure from the muffler......

Well so far I have not put on much mileage on the cat & muffler delete but what I can say is it extremely loud when accelerating compared to just having a cat delete. Also I feel as if Im getting more boost sooner. At last it did shave off a out 3-4 seconds From my 0-60 acceleration.

Nice lookin ride, definitely like the blue. Maybe my next TDI will be a beetle lol. What did you use for the tint spray? Looks good and I'm sure it cost less than the ones I bought on Amazon.

As far as the cat and muffler delete the less back pressure on the turbo the better. If you plan on quieting it down go with a high flow cat that way you won't sacrifice some of the free-flow. I know there's one on idparts but I'm sure other vendors have them too.
