My 97 AHU powered jetta blew an intermediate shaft seal, I then fixed the seal and did the timing belt and water pump while I was at it. Car fired right up and I drove back home from my farm. Next day car starts but has no power. Park it and then when I try to start it the next day to do some diagnosing it will only start for a couple seconds then won't run or try to start again.
Turns out the impeller on my turbo has completely snapped. So I believe it starts for a second then uses up the oxygen and won't go. (If this doesn't sound like the problem let me know)
I am wondering what is the best way to check if my engine is toast? before I order a new turbo.
