^What he said. It's quite possible you're not installing the air filter correctly. You have to clean the lip where it rests, inspect the gasket for pinching or damage, and place it correctly so it can seal effectively. If the air filters are installed properly, you'll never have dust intrusion no matter how fine. I liked the OEM filter that had the winter/snow filter on it. Also, keep the snow screen and snorkel intact. It's very important because it keeps the filter from getting overloaded with excessive debris. In effect, it *is* a cyclonic filter, because it drops out 80% of all leaves, debris, large soil, etcetera before it even gets to your filter. If you are seeing dust tracks, check your installation methods and make sure you have the snorkel and snow screen installed.
