Best chip for 98\' ALH swap
First... lemme explain....
About 2 days ago I was comin down mt. rainier when my timing belt broke on the 79' rabbit. Unfortunately it was in gear, and some pistons met some valves.
6 of the 8 valves have been mis-seated or severly bent in some way.
In lieu of my loss I resolved to get an ALH motor out of a 98' jetta/golf and swap it into my rabbit. The question lay here.
which chip(s) provide the best high-range performance. I prefer to drive at the very top of the power band, so which chip gives me the most power in that area, 3k-5k.
For those of you who don't know about the rabbit, it was naturally aspirated 1.6L hydro-head diesel. If there is a chip that provides power in the same range as my prior engine it would be nice to know about.
