No longer own one.
This mornin went to start my car. Little to no power to starter, maybe a few revolutions on the engine to start but then just clicking. I left no lights on or any other power drain on in the car over night. I jumped it, and it started fine. No battery/alternator light either. Drove it to work no issues.
3 hours later I went out to start it, and same thing. While turning the key trying to start, a gold dash indicator light in the shape of a key illuminated.
Could it be an ignition switch or something?
Anyone with any suggestions?
Thanks!

How many year on the battery, check your battery, the battery may not hold the charging.

Check the voltage of the battery while the engine is running.
You have described a typical alternator failure and or battery failure.

Once you have it jumped off, verify that you have 13.8 to 14.2 volts indicated at the battery (with the jumper cables off or charger off.)

The key sign is the immobilizer. It lets the engine start but then shuts it off 2 seconds later. Fairly common with low battery issues. If this is happening, put the right key in the ignition, put a battery charger on it, and leave it key on for 15 minutes. See if that will not reset it.
