A few years ago, I bought a badgeless grille because I had a trailer hitch poked through the old original. Had the body shop put a steel filler into the hood, and install the (I think FK) grille on repair. It sure looked great, but when I went to change the hood release level (to aluminum - plastic broke) I found that the grille was paper thin, and starting to break up from normal air loads! Did a banzai blitz last summer and damned if the grille didn't blow right out. Did a little looking around and found a Konceptz grille on Amazon.ca for a lot more money, and HOPE it is actually as heavy plastic as they claim.
Anyone have this grille? Also, warning others about the FK and JOM pieces.
