When they tinted the windshield, they popped the mirror off the mount, cut a small hole in the tint, and put it in place. When they were done, the popped the mirror back on.
In Tennessee, we don't have inspection stickers or any sort of sticker that goes on your windshield. We do get emissions testing, but you have to have that to renew your registration, so there is no sticker for it.
I imagine you could have your tint shop not tint the area where the sticker goes.
