Two years ago I decided I was going to buy an older Tdi, that I knew nothing about, when I bought my 03 golf tdi I was recommended by the previous owner to take my car to Automotive consulting services in Hatboro ,Pa. since ive owned this car I’ve had to do quite a bit of service to keep it road worthy, Roman goldin @ Automotive consulting services is by far one of the best mechanics I’ve ever dealt with as far as repair time and cost for repairs, he’s very thorough with his work and I haven’t had a single issue yet with his work, I own a few other cars and I honesty wouldnt let a single one of them touch my golf. I second your recommendation. I have used Roman for years and won't go to anyone else now. He's the only reason my car is still on the road! He saved me after a crappy mechanic did a manual trans swap with unknown parts. I then had him rebuild my suspension. 3 years later I needed a TB, new front bearings and the speedo gear in that manual trans had shredded (the internal one) plastic everywhere in the trans. I changed the Trans oil twice trying to save it. nope. Trans bearings f'd and my turbo was on the way out. He had a knuckle/brake upgrade & exhaust upgrade on the shelf. He used those and we ordered the rest of the parts. Added a tune, larger injectors, EGR bypass and the car has been awesome ever since. Can't recommend Roman enough!
